Back From The Holiday

Well, I am back!

Everything was quite smooth, except for the Grand Canyon. We went up half way and it snowed. We had decided to turn back to Las Vegas. So, for this trip, we didn't go to Grand Canyon. What a Waste!

The weather there was very very cold...... Las Vegas was snowing....very funny.....well, the kids did enjoy themselves there, playing with snow..... only the food, they missed Singapore's food!

I am leaving for California. All the best for my trip!!! Bye bye..... see you all two weeks later.

Left One More Day To USA

Left one more day only, everything packed already. Only left the milk bottles, combs, hair bands, diapers, tipbits....... and also GPS. My kids will so excited.....hope they will really enjoy this holiday...

15 Days California

Left four more days, we will be leaving for our two weeks California's holiday. Quite excited and nervous!!!

Don't know everything will go on smoothly or not. Till now, I still cannot get the GPS's map for USA. K Yong's GPS don't know why cannot access the SD Card which contain the USA's map. Have to wait till Aunties come back from KL, then tried theirs...

If not, we have to go US using map manually.
Still have not really pack our things.

Last Saturday went to Tanjong Rhu Road for the KPE opening. Went to Waterside and met the rest, then went to swimming club to have our dinner.

After dinner, parked the cars at Waterplace, and walked to the new KPE. We collected 16 goddies' bags.... very kiasu!!! The gift not bad, had one BIG SIZE T-shirt, hand towel, pen, tissue, note pad, portable fan... LTA very rich........ I thought they will give some advertising stuff...

And they also provided some nice food, like carrot cake, poi pian, roti prata, ice kecheng..pok corn.......apples...

This photo was taken without all my aunties and grandmum. Don't know where were they, except Aunty Ban, she don't want to come in... And the kids kept on queuing for the balloon......about 14....

After that, we walked back to Waterplace to collect our cars, and proceeded to Waterside to have a cup of coffee.........

Chalet At East Coast Park

Goldkist Resort was the chalet that we had stayed on the last Friday night. It was booked by my brother, Yong. He said wanted to let the four kids get together and played.

This chalet was very expensive. Remembered last time, it was only S$70 to S$80 per night. But, now, is S$240 per night and if you want chairs and table, still have to pay. I thought after changing the managment, the chalet will look better. But, very disappointed. Everything was still the same, except there was a big swimming pool.

At least, the kids did enjoy themselves there. They went there cycling, went to the beach and played, swimming. And first time, squeezed in one bedroom and sleep. Although, very uncomfortable, but, they did have fun.

Count Down To Our USA's Holiday!!!

Wow........very fast. Left 12 more days, we are going for our holiday. This holiday, I had spent about 1 year to plan for this trip.

At first, were a few families(friends) wanted to join us. It was so difficult to plan because had to suit everybody.

And I kept asking them, when is the suitable day to leave. At first was end of November, then beginning of December. So troublesome! That's why I delayed and delayed until August then started booking our air tickets. Because a lot of seats were full.

Before the booking, wanted to confirm how many families are going. One dropped out, because cannot tell us the time of leaving. Then, left two families. When I wanted to book the tickets, the other family said they wanted to check with the travel agent, see whether cheaper or not. So, on hold again. For a few weeks, no news. So, we go ahead and booked our own tickets. Then, the other family said they cannot go, because cousin want to get married and one of their grand mum was very sick.

So, now, left us. After booking the air tickets and vehicle. During September or October, Harry's mum said she wanted to join us. So, I booked another ticket for her, the price was so expensive. Four hundred more and she said it was ok. Also I have to go and changed the vehicle to a bigger one.

Now, I had booked everything, the hotel, RV Parks to park the vehicle, tickets to go in to the theme parks and the cab from the airport to the hotel. After all these arrangements, and bookings. I really hope that this holiday will go on smoothly. Now, only left Harry has not read the map.

We have to do some reading of the map, if not, we drive to the wrong place, there will be extra charges for the mileages. Very funny, we pay the petrol, extra mileages still have to pay the company. Don't know what kind of logic is that!!!

Well, while waiting for the time to come. These few days like so busy, have so many things to do. The kids also have a lot of programs. Today, they went to the kids' kampong to catch fishes and feed the animals.

Thursday, my aunty G is going to bring them to the zoo. And Friday, my brother had booked the chalet for the kids till Saturday. And we will have BBQ for the adult, so busy.

Monday, I will have golf at JB. My mother will be going to KL for 3 days. You know like so many things. And now, I have to think what to pack for the trip.

So excited and also a bit scared!!!

Uncle's Son Wedding Dinner

Last Saturday (15th November 2008) was my cousin, Lawrance's wedding. My whole family attended his wedding dinner. I think this was our first time attending the wedding dinner and sat together at one table. It was quite fun! And the children were really enjoyed themselves.

Quite happy and fun to see all those relatives, although we were not very closed (very long story, will not explain here) Saw how they changed, fat, skinny, old and young. Some of them their look still the same.

The dinner was at Grand Hyatt, the food so so only. It ended quite late, almost 11 o'clock. Well, it was good to see all those relatives!

This year, the performance was very short, only one hour.
