Nicole's Swimming Test

Yesterday, Nicole went for the Swimming Survival Silver Test. The weather was not good, rain, shine, rain and shine........ So, the test was delayed for about 1 hour...... Nicole and the rest were waiting at the swimming pool.
After the test, she was very tired... She passed the test..........

Nicole's Birthday

We didn't really celebrate her birthday. 12/01/2008, we celebrated all our birthday together at Waterside.

On 13th Jan, then we brought the kids and parents to the new airport, T3. From there, we bought a small cake for Nicole to blow.

2nd Day of School

2nd day of school. Everything went on smoothly. We reached there very early. So, I brought Nicole to the canteen to see the stalls. And we found outthat there was a stall selling Japanese Food, Nicole"s favourite Sushi - 3 pieces - S$0.50, and Steam Eggs - S$0.90. We bought one steam egg and a set of Chicken Teriyaki rice set - S$1.30. Very cheap! Of course, the proportion was small lah...... But, not the steam eggs.

After eating, was time for Nicole to go up to the hall
for silent reading. About 1.05pm, I saw Nicole's class came down from the hall and proceeded to the classroom.

Nicole 's First Day of School

Yesterday was Nicole's first day of primary school. She was so excited and nervous.

Morning, she woke up too late, 10am. She took her breakfast at 10.30am and then her lunch at 11am. This mother of mine should have given her just bunch.

When I came at 11.25am, she was still eating her noodle. A bit rush! But, we reached the school at 12.05pm, too early.. And she straight away went up to the hall to have their silence reading. I stayed about 1 hour thought that I can see her come down to her classroom. But, no... heard some of the parent said that those primary one students will stay in the hall for more than one hour. So, I left to pick up Cheryl at 1.30pm.

These photos took after school. They were waiting for their turn to come down. Using handphone to take, not very clear.

Too bad, I didn't take before she went to school.

May be today, her 2nd day of school.
